“Mental health impacts millions of people nationwide and likely contributes to other serious quality of life issues. People shouldn’t have to choose between receiving wellness supports or securing basic needs such as food and shelter,” said Envision Unlimited President and CEO Mark McHugh. “We understand the complexity of the issue and proudly serve the area through supportive housing. We are honored to strengthen our investment by opening this mental health center.”
The Center’s professional and compassionate staff provide personalized evaluations, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, community support and more to low-income individuals. Clinical therapistsand mental health specialists work closely with individuals to develop a custom treatment plan, and the recovery support specialists, who share lived experience, can provide additional counseling and support.
“Every person deserves the opportunity to heal, grow and thrive, and our team is equipped with the expertise and resources to support people along their journey,” said Whitley Hofer, Envision Unlimited’s Director of Springfield Mental Health and Clinical Services. “The Springfield Mental Health Center is a safe and welcoming space where individuals feel seen, supported and empowered.”
