Celebrating Our Brightest Stars: Employees of the Year

It’s been said that hard work and dedication can make anything possible. At Envision Unlimited, our employees are proof of that, as they go above and beyond every day to help our members with disabilities and mental health challenges lead their best lives. We recently celebrated them at our annual Employee of the Year Awards banquet.

More than 40 Envision Unlimited employees were recognized for outstanding job performance, client service, teamwork and leadership/initiative. Honorees included staff in programs throughout our organization – from mental health to community living to specialized foster care.

“Being acknowledged for supporting individuals through their challenges, celebrating their progress and helping them grow is truly humbling,” said QIDP/Program Coordinator Gloria Caldwell, who was recognized for the first time. “This honor motivates me to continue advocating, listening and creating opportunities that help each person reach their potential.”

Fellow first-time awardee Angela Mendoza has worked as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in our Short-Term Stabilization Program since 2023. She feels grateful to collaborate with her team and help our members thrive with consistent support.

“I never expect a thank you or praise from others because seeing an individual be successful at learning a new skill, respond well to a new program or show improvement in their behavior has been more than enough,” she said, adding that she cried upon receiving the news.

Additionally, 50 employees were celebrated for their years of service to Envision Unlimited, and roughly one-third have been part of our team for 15 years or more.

We appreciate all of our employees for their hard work and dedication that makes a significant difference in the lives of our members.
