For us, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) are more than just guidelines. They’re a commitment to fostering an inclusive community, in which we work together to provide care with empathy, every time and everywhere for people with intellectual, developmental and psychiatric disabilities.
Our members* come from a range of backgrounds, and many are at or below the poverty line. So, we’re committed to attracting, engaging, developing and retaining a diverse team who can understand their specific needs.
Our goal is to make all of our 900+ Envision Unlimited employees feel seen, heard, valued and respected. As part of our DEI program, we have offered staff and Board-level training sessions, held focus groups and made great progress with our culture health survey scores. We hope that our efforts will inspire other organizations to wholeheartedly invest in DEI too.
