Kayah Kendricks, a highly respected and universally loved member of our staff at the Lewandowski Family Center, passed away late this spring.
She was a major part of the fabric at Envision Unlimited and her passing leaves a hole throughout the organization.
In 2015 Kayah joined Envision as a DSP/Training Counselor and was promoted to a Unit Coordinator in 2021. Her sense of humor was known to everyone as was her familiar deep, strong laugh. She was always known as a progressive and fierce advocate for our members as well as being a dedicated worker for social justice and equality in her community. Getting more books into underserved communities was a favorite charitable endeavor of Kayah and her family and she involved Envision members in helping this educational cause.
The entire Envision family extends deepest sympathies to Kayah’s family and friends. We wish peace to bring comfort to all and loving memories that we too will continue to hold dear to our hearts.
